Olive Oil
Centennial olive trees
As in any traditional farmhouse in Languedoc, there are olive trees at Le Pech d'André. Starting with the driveway of centennial olive trees that leads to the domain.
Other olive trees were planted about fifty years ago, and more recently we added some young trees at the edge of different vine plots.
Several varieties are represented: Lucques, Picholine, Olivière… as well as several wild olive trees which we harvest too.
An outstanding oil
Olive trees are just pruned: no treatments, no irrigation, to produce a natural, intense and concentrated oil.
Extraction is performed by a small local mill (le Moulin de la Restanque at Roubia), which guarantees the separate processing of our olives as well as compliance with our "Organic Agriculture" certification.
This oil has something special: it is the oil of friendship, which we celebrate every year with our special event named Bal-Ô-Live…
